Baseon LTDA is the legal entity that owns, develops, and operates the Clean Up application. As the data controller, we determine the purposes and means of processing any data related to our services.

1. Introduction

Clean Up (“the App”, “our App”) is an iOS application developed and operated by Baseon LTDA (CNPJ: 64.549.916/0001-88). The App is designed to help users free up storage space on their iPhones by identifying duplicate photos, old screenshots, cached files, and other unnecessary media.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use Clean Up. We are committed to transparency and to safeguarding your personal data in compliance with applicable laws, including the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Lei nº 13.709/2018), Apple's App Store Privacy Guidelines, and other relevant data protection regulations.

By downloading, installing, or using Clean Up, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our practices, please do not use the App.

2. Information We Collect

We are committed to collecting the absolute minimum amount of data necessary to provide and improve our services. The data we collect falls into the following categories:

2.1 Automatically Collected Data

  • Anonymous usage analytics — Aggregated, non-identifiable data about how the App is used, such as which features are accessed, session frequency, and general usage patterns. This data is collected through Apple's built-in analytics framework and cannot be used to identify you personally.
  • Crash reports and diagnostics — Technical information generated when the App encounters an error, including device model, iOS version, App version, and crash stack traces. This data helps us identify and fix bugs to improve App stability.
  • Device information — General device type and operating system version, collected solely for compatibility and performance optimization purposes.

All data collected is fully anonymous, aggregated, and can never be traced back to an individual user. We do not create user profiles or track individual behavior.

2.2 Data You Provide Voluntarily

If you contact us via email for support or inquiries, we may receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message. This data is used solely to respond to your request and is not shared with third parties.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

Clean Up is built with a privacy-first architecture. The App processes all data locally on your device. We expressly do not collect, access, transmit, or store any of the following:

  • The content of your photos, videos, screenshots, or any media files
  • Your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers
  • Your Apple ID or any account credentials
  • Your geographic location or GPS data
  • Your contacts, calendars, reminders, or notes
  • Your browsing history or data from other applications
  • Biometric data (Face ID, Touch ID) — authentication is handled entirely by iOS
  • Financial or payment information — all transactions are processed by Apple

Clean Up never uploads, transmits, or sends your files to any external server. All scanning, analysis, and cleanup operations are performed 100% on your device. Your data never leaves your iPhone.

4. How We Use Information

The limited, anonymous data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

  • App improvement — Understanding general usage patterns to enhance features and user experience
  • Bug fixing — Identifying and resolving crashes, errors, and performance issues
  • Compatibility — Ensuring the App works correctly across different iPhone models and iOS versions
  • Customer support — Responding to inquiries you voluntarily send us via email

We do not use any collected data for advertising, marketing, user profiling, data brokering, or any purpose other than those listed above.

5. Legal Basis for Data Processing (LGPD)

In accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Lei nº 13.709/2018), we process data based on the following legal grounds:

  • Legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX) — We collect anonymous analytics and crash reports to maintain and improve the quality, security, and performance of our App. This processing is minimal, non-invasive, and does not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.

6. Third-Party Services

Clean Up integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Apple Analytics — We use Apple's built-in analytics framework for anonymous usage data and crash reporting. Apple processes this data in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
  • Apple App Store — The App is distributed exclusively through the Apple App Store. All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple under their Terms of Service. We do not receive or have access to your payment information.

We do not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, social media plugins, data brokers, or behavioral analytics tools.

7. Data Storage & Security

Clean Up does not operate proprietary servers, databases, or cloud infrastructure for storing user data. All App data, preferences, scan results, and temporary files are stored exclusively on your device using iOS-native storage mechanisms.

Security measures include:

  • On-device processing — No personal data is transmitted over the internet
  • iOS sandboxing — The App operates within Apple's security sandbox, preventing unauthorized access to data from other apps
  • No external APIs — The App does not communicate with external servers for core functionality
  • Encrypted storage — All data stored on your device benefits from iOS hardware-level encryption

You can remove all App data at any time by deleting Clean Up from your device.

8. Data Retention

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to retain. Specifically:

  • On-device data — Stored only on your iPhone and deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data
  • Anonymous analytics — Aggregated data processed by Apple is retained according to Apple's data retention policies
  • Support emails — If you contact us, we retain your correspondence only for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, after which it is permanently deleted

9. Your Rights

Under the LGPD and other applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — Request confirmation of whether we process your data and access to such data
  • Right to correction — Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
  • Right to deletion — Request deletion of your personal data

10. International Data Transfers

Clean Up does not transfer personal data internationally. All App data remains on your device.

Anonymous analytics data processed through Apple's framework may be stored on Apple's servers, which may be located outside of Brazil. Apple complies with applicable data protection regulations and maintains appropriate safeguards for international data transfers as described in their privacy documentation.

11. Children’s Privacy

Clean Up is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at baseondevelopment@gmail.com so we can take appropriate action to delete such information.

12. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Clean Up may offer premium features through in-app purchases or subscriptions. All transactions are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store.

  • We do not collect, process, or store any payment information, credit card numbers, or billing details
  • Subscription management (cancellation, renewal) is handled entirely through your Apple ID settings
  • For billing inquiries or refund requests, please contact Apple Support

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or App functionality. When we make changes:

  • The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised
  • Significant changes will be communicated through the App or our website
  • Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy

14. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, including the LGPD (Lei nº 13.709/2018). Any disputes arising from or relating to this policy shall be submitted to the competent courts of Brazil.
